Privacy notice

The tools, the guided demo and the calculators run in your browser. What you type into them isn’t sent to us or stored. WebChat.si doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, and doesn’t load analytics, advertising or other third-party services.
Who is responsible
The controller for the personal data described here is CherryWave LLC, which operates WebChat.si and Conecto.

What we process, why, and for how long

The demo currently uses prepared replies only, so nothing you type in it is sent anywhere. If a live version is added, this notice will be updated before it is switched on, and the demo will explain what happens to your messages before you start.
What stays in your browser
- Demo, calculators and generators. Questions in the guided demo, numbers in the calculators, and the business name or hours in the greeting generator are processed only in your browser. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.
- Interaction events. The site notes simple events, such as “calculator used”, in the page’s memory. They never include what you type, and no analytics service receives them.
- Links to Conecto. Links to conecto.chat include campaign tags that tell Conecto the visit came from WebChat.si. They contain no personal data. Conecto’s privacy policy applies on its site.
Who receives the data
Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. (global content delivery network), processes server logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We don’t sell personal data or share it for advertising.
International transfers
CherryWave LLC is based in the United States. Where personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is processed outside those regions, including by our service providers, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified) or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for information about these safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17);
- restrict how we use it (Art. 18);
- receive it in a portable format (Art. 20);
- object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21);
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what happened before (Art. 7(3)).
To use these rights, email legal@conecto.chat. We reply within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened (Art. 77).
You don’t have to give us any personal data to use WebChat.si. We don’t use automated decision-making or profiling.
Children
WebChat.si is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children.
Changes
We’ll update this notice when the site changes how it handles data, and change the date at the top.
