How the lab is built and checked
- Sample businesses
- Oddwick Home, Tallybird and Kestrel Bike Workshop are fictional. Their knowledge was written for this site, and email addresses and phone numbers use reserved example domains and numbers.
- The demo
- The demo currently runs as a guided example: every reply was written in advance from the sample knowledge, and your browser picks the closest one. No AI model runs on the page, and the demo says so.
- Examples
- Every example is labeled. “Illustrative” means it was written to show a pattern. “Tested” would mean it was recorded from the live demo, with the date and setup.
- Calculators
- Each formula is published below its tool, with a worked example, the assumptions it leaves out and the date it was last reviewed. Prefilled values are illustrative, never benchmarks.
- Guides
- Platform steps are checked against each platform’s own documentation, and the sources and review date are listed at the end of the guide.
Who makes WebChat.si
WebChat.si is made by the team behind Conecto, which makes customer support software including website chat. Both are operated by CherryWave LLC; the full company details are in the legal notice.
Where Conecto Chat fits what a page describes, the page links to it. That is a commercial interest, which is why the methods above are published, why every page says who made it, and why the guides say when live chat alone, or no chat at all, is the better choice. WebChat.si is not an independent review site, and it doesn’t rank chat vendors.
